Physical Therapy at Therafit is Back!
In-Clinic Appointments Resume Monday June 8th!
We will be continuing to offer telehealth appointments for patients who continue to need physical therapy services, but are concerned about the spread of COVID-19. Telehealth a covered benefit with most insurances in Massachusetts and patient responsibility (copayments and deductibles) have been temporarily waived with most plans for physical therapy. We can verify your individual plan for you. We will be resuming in-clinic physical therapy appiontments as of today Monday June 8th! We will continue to breifly suspend our fitness center, aquacise and yoga classes and will be re-evaluating on a weekly basis and hope to re-open those services ASAP.

Wiping down of all treatment tables and equipment after each use with hospital grade disinfectant. Virex Cleaner
- Therafit has always been equipped with purell hand sanitizer stations throughout the facilities.
We constantly clean high-touch areas with medical grade disinfectant (e.g., door handles, common area surfaces, railings, chairs, light switches, payment machines, exercise equipment and treatment tools) and provide Antibacterial Wipes at several stations throughout the facilities for our patients.
- Our therapy staff always wash their hands thoroughly between treating each patient and always follow universal precautions when required.
- We can all play a role and join the battle against this virus.
WHEN WE RESUME IN-CLINIC APPOINTMENTS JUNE 8th 2020:
We will have implemented initial screenings to inquire about your health history and any possibility of exposure or symptoms related to COVID-19 before you may begin treatment in the clinic.
Some additional precautions that you will encounter when we re-open on Monday June 8th will include social distancing within our clinic for the health and the safety of you, our staff, and our treating clinicians.
All patients will have non-contact infrared temperature scans upon entering the building and only allowed to participate in treatment if under the CDC guidelines of 100.4º F. Initially, masks will be required by all patients and staff, in addition to increased frequency of sanitization procedures.
Most intake information will be able to be filled out online, over the phone or mailed to your residence and any payments may be made online, over the phone or by non-contact card scans or apple pay.
We have signs, postings and additional information on-site as well as information made available to you about what you can expect when you arrive for your appointment in order to protect you and our staff from the spread of COVID-19.
We will be contacting all our current patients about resuming any in-clinic treatment plans.
